Enterprise Zone Tax Benefits.

With tax time just around the corner, the Office of Economic Development and Employment reminds Oakland businesses located in the Enterprise Zone to take advantage of the tax benefits offered through this state of California program.

Not to be confused with the federal Enterprise Community program, Oakland's Enterprise Zone was designated in fall of 1993 and provides automatic tax incentives to more than 7,100 businesses located within its boundaries, which generally include the East and West Oakland industrial areas, ...
