Poland Five Years Later: Doing Just Fine.
Recently, some Polish Americans have heard disturbing things about conditions in Poland. A recent article in this newspaper expressed the opinion that Poland is undergoing some kind of moral and cultural collapse under the assault of unrestrained western materialism. Poland, the story goes, has corrupt politicians. Its young people are watching MTV. Its streets are no longer safe.
