After Eric Piccolo's first season as Englewood coach, his players
routinely asked, "When are you leaving?" and "Who is going to replace
you?" Piccolo found the questions humorous.

His players didn't think it was so funny. Piccolo was Englewood's
third coach in three years, so the Maroon Raiders had come to expect the
hello-and-goodbye act.
