IT'S HARD to overstate how devastated AIDS patients in Wanaque were
last week when they learned they were being displaced.
The nursing home that provides 120 beds for these patients -- and
has become a national model for long-term AIDS care -- is closing its
AIDS wing because of a dispute with the state over Medicaid fees, which
