WAYNE -- Walking off the track shortly after finishing the Group 2 boys
400-meter final, Englewood junior Tony Yamasaki wore a pained look on
his face. The grimace was an understandable reaction to the burning in
his oxygen-starved lungs, and to the tightness in his hamstring. But
more than the physical pain, Yamasaki's own disappointment was to blame
for his sourpuss look.
