Former police chief's memoirs anger Shiv Sena

After Deepa Mehta's "Fire," it is the turn of former Punjab police chief Julius Rebeiro's memoirs to raise the hackles of the Shiv Sena - an organization with which the "super cop" has had several run-ins.

Rebeiro, who served as the police commissioner of Mumbai, has been unsparing in his criticism of the Sena in his book "Bullet for Bullet: My Life as a Police Officer."

Apart from giving a glimpse of his life in uniform, the 397-page book discusses at length the rise of the Shiv Sena in Mumbai and terrorism in Punjab.
