Proposed abortion clinic in Shaker Heights generates controversy: Nearby residents worry about pickets and threats of violence.

Judging from the reaction of Jewish neighbors the CJN has contacted, an abortion clinic proposed for the former Shaker Heights headquarters of the National Council of Jewish Women, Cleveland Section, has generated some controversy before it has even opened.

While several residents say they support the planned abortion clinic, a few refused to comment on a "loaded, emotional" issue. Still others say they are somewhat concerned about ...
