Essence Magazine and Crown Publishing Team Up
Crown Publishers, Inc., has entered into an agreement to publish four books with Essence Communications, Inc., which publishes ESSENCE, the preeminent lifestyle magazine for today's African American woman. The announcement was made today by Steve Ross, editorial director of Crown.
"I'm very excited to be working with a publishing and communications organization that has established itself as the voice of African American women and exemplifies the best in magazine publishing," said Ross.
