ON THE SCENE: Screech is a scream on `Bell'.

It's the ultimate revenge of the nerds.

Gangly and gawky, Screech is a Jewish nebbish/nice guy who chills out with a gang of guys and gals much cooler than he could ever hope to be.

As Screech, Dustin Diamond is a major saving grace of "Saved by the Bell: The College Years," the NBC-TV series that just had back-to-back episodes Tuesday night and will return for more next month.
