Joe Clark encourages youth, says self-responsibility is key.

Challenge and confront life and you will succeed.

So said Joe Clark, the legendary high school principal who single-handedly transformed Eastside High School in Patterson, N.J., into a nationally respected institution of learning, to an enthusiastic audience at Bunker Hill Community College on March 1.
