GOLF: Van de Velde is French for choke

CARNOUSTIE, Scotland KRT - Move over, Greg Norman. The new word for choke in French is Van
de Velde.
People will say, so-and-so "pulled a Van de Velde," and no explanation will be required.
What Jean Van de Velde did at the British Open makes Norman's nose-dive in the 1996
Masters, when he blew a six-shot lead in the final round, seem trivial. This was Norman on
