Quartet music is the foundation of all Gospel music which influenced other types of music from R&B to Rock-N-Roll to Hip-Hop. Many of today's successful Pop/ R&B singers, from, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Boyz To Men and others, trace their roots back to Gospel and Gospel's roots trace back to Quartet music.
