Senate Kills Ambassador Job for Diane Watson

Conservative Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee succeeded last month in killing the nomination of state Sen. Diane E., Watson, D-Los Angeles, as U. S. ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia.
