ST. STEPHENS, Wyo. -- The renovation of a 68-year-old church here has given new life to the symbols the Arapaho once used in painting, beadwork and quillwork to express their spirituality and artistry.
In the summer of 1995, Sister Monica Suheyda discovered that St. Stephens Catholic Church on the Wind River Indian Reservation was "falling apart literally."
