Poet's message is clear in his music

"I started writing poetry from school, in the late 60's. I started to analyze and criticize the social happenings in Jamaica. This was my way of throwin' out what I feel about the system, and hope that when people listen, it'll awaken their consciousness to what is taking place around them."
