FED: Reith flags scheme to protect workers entitlements

Workplace Relations Minister PETER REITH has e xpressed interest in a British scheme to
ensure retrenched workers get access to their entitlements before anyone else is paid.

The scheme could help workers such as the 125 miners at the former Oakdale colliery in New
Sotuh Wales, who are owed $6.3 million in severance pay and other entitlements...
