Although I applaud the sincerity of North Dakota Gov. Ed Schafer in his attempt to have the image of Sacajawea appear on the newly minted dollar coin fashioned after the statue of her that graces his state's capitol grounds, I can't help but feel that such efforts are a prime example of "too little, too late."
