MOT: Rally team in police custody after accident kills three

SAINT-ETIENNE, France, June 5 AFP - A team competing in the Forez rally were in police
custody here on Saturday after their car crashed, leaving three spectators dead and seven
others injured.

The driver and co-driver, Patrice Duvivier and Edmond Vernay, were taken in after their
Citroen AX lost control coming out of a bend at Le Fouay, between here and Saint-Chamond.

The fatalities were listed by the rescue services as a 62-year-old man and a 47-year-old
woman, who died instantly ...
