FED: Vic Govt rejects Howard s criticism of education system
MELBOURNE, Jan 29 AAP - The Victorian Government today rejected Prime Minister John
Howard's claim that the education system was neglecting the basics of reading and writing.
"We are taking active steps to ensure no child slips through the net in the areas of
literacy and numeracy," a spokesman for Education Minister Phil Gude said.
