VIC: Post war architectural legacy abominable, says mayor

MELBOURNE, Dec 10 AAP - A Melbourne mayor has hit out at modern architects, saying the
public completely mistrusts them and believes the post-war legacy of architecture is
abominable.

City of Port Phillip Mayor Dick Gross said most of the community despaired of the modern
design industry.

Members of the public were stumped to name five of their favourite post-war buildings.
