What price religious pluralism?

Torn by an election process that is especially acrimonious and disruptive, Israelis could use some spiritual respite. It would be a great blessing if the 29th International Convention of the World Union of Progressive Judaism - which opened Tuesday on its beautiful Jerusalem campus - could provide us with this.

But, alas, our Reform Jewish brethren seem intent on getting involved in Israel's political mess, determined to further inflame a process already suffering from too much sectoralism.
