JAKARTA -- Just six months after stepping down from power, former
Indonesian president Suharto will face prosecutors this morning on various
corruption charges amid street protests and criticism that the powerful
Indonesian armed forces is trying to protect the retired general.

The Attorney-General's Office on Tuesday questioned former trade and
industry minister Tunky Ariwibowo, a former close aide to Suharto, as well
as Hediyanto, the treasurer of the Suharto-controlled Dharmais Foundation.
