The Labor Party is not part of the ruling coalition on Ra'anana's city council for the first time in the city's history.

The city's mayor, Ze'ev Bielski, announced yesterday that his coalition would be composed of his own independent list, Lev, Meretz, the National Religious Party and the Likud Party, with the possibility of smaller factions joining the coalition in the future.
