Man accused of taking sunken figurehead
LANSING, Mich., Nov. 12 (UPI) _ An Illinois man who allegedly stole a
wooden figurehead from a shipwreck in Lake Huron in the 1980s and then
gave it to a museum is facing possible prison time and stiff fines.
Michigan authorities have charged Paul Ehorn, of Elgin, with two felony
counts of possessing stolen property and violating a state law
protecting shipwreck artifacts.
The figurehead, a carved wooden dragon with wings and large scales,
