Celia Cruz: The Queen of Salsa Is A Living Doll!

By Audrey J. Bernard

Celia Cruz, known worldwide as the "Queen of Salsa," has been immortalized with the creation of a doll in her image. And, this is no ordinary doll -- but Cruz is no ordinary performer.

"Celia The Doll" who sings "Guantanamera" and shouts "Azucar" is the world's first musical porcelain doll. 21 inches tall, majestically dressed in a folkloric costume, this masterpiece was designed by Maryse Nicole, a two time winner of the APEX award for excellence in porcelain design and craftsmanship.
