BUC, Slovakia, Sep. 3 (IPS) -- Although the school vacation is
almost over, Katarina Molnarova has been to school every day
throughout the hot summer -- not to teach children, but to teach
Slovakia's government a lesson.
"We just want to protect our rights," says Molnarova, whose
seven-year-old granddaughter, Veronika, attends the local primary
school, "and the right of our children and grandchildren to learn
in their native language."
Molnarova, one of the 11 percent of Slovak citizens who are of
