Tianjin Port Development Takes Helm of Tianjin Port

TIANJIN, Mar 17, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Tianjin Port Development Holdings Limited (SEHK: 3382) will acquire a controlling stake in the port operator Tianjin Port Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600717).

On March 16, 2009, the listed port operator issued an announcement, saying that its parent Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd. inked an equity transfer agreement with Tianjin Port Development and the latter's affiliate Grand Point Investment Limited.
