Damaris now a role model for Penan students

KUCHING: Her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results may seem ordinary, but it marks a milestone for an entire community.

Damaris Panai, a Science stream student of SMK Marudi in central Sarawak, scored four As, two Bs and three Cs in the SPM.
For a Penan girl from the deep interior of the state, the result means the start of a whole new world of opportunities to help her people.
