Haikou Port to Handle 330,000 Containers in 08

HAIKOU, Dec 03, 2008 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Haikou Port, the largest port in southmost Chinese Hainan Province, has handled over 310,000 containers (TEU) in the past time of 2008,, hitting a record high.

Hainan Harbor and Shipping Holding Co., Ltd. (HHSH), the logistics service providers for Haikou Port, estimates the annual container throughput in 2008 would exceed 330,000 TEUs, soaring 15.4% year on year.
