MELBOURNE, July 25 AAP - Distressed new mums may eventually be able to abandon their
unwanted infants legally at a baby drop service with Victorian Premier John Brumby saying
he's "open" to the idea.

The proposition follows the heartbreaking find of a newborn baby boy's body in a shopping
bag at a country Victorian bus stop on Wednesday.

Mr Brumby said there had been no proposals to the government ...
