Hemisphere July 17, 2008 Chairman Engels and Committee Members, thank you
for the opportunity to address the committee on the current state of Venezuelan
politics and relations with the United States. My written testimony will
do three things: Analyze the background, goals and challenges of the Chavez
administration`s ``Bolivarian Revolution, focusing on democracy and governability.
