For Immediate Release Senator Collins Requests Environmental Education

- U.S. Senator Susan Collins today announced that she has drafted a letter
to Senate appropriators requesting $9 million in funding for the Office
of Environmental Education at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The funding will be used to provide small grants to schools, universities,
museums, zoos, aquariums, and local governments for environmental funding.
