WA: Accused killer of Chinese student gets time to brief lawyer

The accused killer of a Chinese student has been granted time by a Perth court to brief
a new lawyer on his case.

The semi-naked body of 22 year old JIAO DAN was found on the verge of a north suburban
Innaloo house early on October 9 .. close to where she lived.

35 year old DANIEL ADAM WRIGHT of Gwelup has appeared on videolink in the Stirling
Gardens Magistrates Court charged with wilfully murdering Ms JIAO on October 8.

There was some confusion in the court today with two lawyers ...
