Fed: New vaccine to fight fowlpox

CANBERRA, Oct 26 AAP - A new vaccine to help control fowlpox is now available for commercial use.

The common poultry disease is spread by mosquitoes and produces wart-like nodules on
the non-feathered parts of the head and legs of the poultry.

The fowlpox vaccine was developed by CSIRO Livestock Industries and has been registered
