Qld: Morgan Park horses to leave lock-down today

BRISBANE, Oct 2 AAP - Horse owners will begin leaving a south-east Queensland equestrian
centre today where they have been in lockdown for more than a month.

The Morgan Park equestrian centre at Warwick, south-west of Brisbane, was put in lockdown
on August 25 after horses there became the first in Queensland to contract equine influenza
(EI).

Authorities yesterday gave the all-clear for horses to be moved from 8am (AEST) today,
under strict conditions.

The news was met with cheering by around 100 ...
