Sarawak Energy, the second-largest Malaysian electricity company, plans to spend as much as $2.96 billion building six power plants including hydroelectric and coal-fired generators to triple supply in eight years. Sarawak Energy wants to add 2,000 megawatts of generating capacity by 2015 to the current 966 megawatts, the company's group managing director, Abdul Aziz Husain said in an interview in Kuching in the east Malaysian state of Sarawak on Friday.The state, which has the longest river in Malaysia, wants to increase…
