NSW: Judge urged to suspend Patrick Power's jail term

An appeal judge has been told former New South Wales deputy crown prosecutor PATRICK
POWER shouldn't have received an immediate jail term .. for possessing child pornography.

The disgraced 54-year-old's lawyer today urged acting judge BRIAN BOULTON to replace
his 15-month jail term with a suspended sentence.

PHILLIP BOULTEN SC said POWER suffered from a chronic depressive illness .. and was
addicted to child pornography.
