NSW: Flood waters at Maitland expected to peak early today

SYDNEY, June 11 AAP - Flood waters in the NSW Hunter Valley town of Maitland are expected
to peak early today, and about 6,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes amid
fears the town could be swamped as the Hunter River continues to rise.
