Crik: Prickly Duncan gets Ponting's praise

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada, April 19 AAP - Australian captain Ricky Ponting played a straight
bat today when asked to evaluate the legacy of departing England coach Duncan Fletcher.

Even though England have failed to reach the World Cup semi-finals in the Caribbean,
it was put to Ponting today that Fletcher had done great things with England in his eight-year
stint, especially in the 2005 Ashes series.

"He didn't. The players did," responded Ponting.
