POPULAR lifestyle store Tangs is set to reopen in Kuala Lumpur, writes SURYANI DALIP.

For years, Tangs delighted consumers with its wide range of homewear, shoes and bags. It sold Versace belts and Ralph Lauren bedlinen when designer labels were not sold in department stores. When the economic downturn hit in 1997, it eventually stopped operations in February 2004.
Now, it is coming back to life. However, on a smaller scale, from 13,500 to 5,850 square metres.
