Soc: Wilkinson to lead Mariners

SYDNEY, Feb 14 AAP - Central Coast have appointed young defender Alex Wilkinson as
captain for the next A-League season.

Wilkinson was today handed the captaincy by coach Lawrie McKinna after re-signing with
the club until 2009.

The 22-year-old will replace outgoing Noel Spencer who was one of three players axed
