THE declining number of students taking English Literature for the STPM examination should be a matter of concern among educationists and lovers of literature.
In Muar, the number of Literature in English students has dropped to two this year.
Unless the education authorities do something about it, English Literature may suffer the same fate as Paper 914 (STPM English).
