Crik: Billy's kids making the grade

BRISBANE, Nov 14 AAP - He was nicknamed "Billy the Kid" and the sons of former Australian
Test cricket fast bowler Craig McDermott are starting to hit their own targets.

McDermott's pace bowling eldest son Alister has been chosen aged 15 in the Queensland
under 17 side.

Younger brother Benjamin, a wicketkeeper/batsman, is also making an impression and
is co-captain of the South Coast under 12 side competing in this week's state championships
at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
