As the river waters began to recede, the death toll continued to rise from a flash flood that killed up to 500 people in Ethiopia, according to Ethiopian officials on Monday.The flood hit early Sunday morning in Dire Dawa, in eastern Ethiopia, when many people were still sleeping.
