Historians to lead tour of historic Fort Gorges

The Portland Harbor Museum will offer a guided walking tour of Fort Gorges from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Historians Joel Eastman and Kenneth Thompson Jr. will lead the tour of the fort, which was built in 1865 and named after Maine's colonial proprietor Sir Ferdinando Gorges.
The tour departs from Long Wharf. Visitors will be transported to the fort on the Fish Hawk by ...
