SA: Tenneco workers to get help to find new jobs
ADELAIDE, June 15 AAP - The South Australian government has promised to help find new
jobs for 86 workers who are facing retrenchment at Tenneco Automotive plant in Adelaide.
Treasurer Kevin Foley said the workers would get assistance from a $2.5 million scheme
established last year when Holden axed its third shift in Adelaide.
"While it is very sad news that these 86 workers have lost their jobs the state government
will do all it can through this jobs program to provide specific and targeted ...
