At a roadside motel outside Las Vegas, two swashbuckling highway patrolmen debate the finer points of American and Canadian English in thick Spanish accents, then throw off their helmets and madly embrace before a full, laughing audience.

Called "La Estupidez," or "Stupidity," the theatrical satire by Argentine playwright Rafael Spregelburd has been one of the biggest hits at the Iberoamerican Theater Festival, now under way in Bogota, Colombia.
