Fed: Bird flu fear curtails travel plans - survey
BRISBANE, April 4 AAP - Nearly half of Australians have a fear of contracting bird
flu that has affected their travel plans, a new survey has found.
Paul Fisher, a spokesman for online destination site totaltravel.com which conducted
the survey, said he was surprised by the strong level of concern over the H5N1 bird flu
virus.
