Com: Canada and Scotland issue challenge to Karak

MELBOURNE, March 21 AAP - A long-necked goose from Canada and a fluffy terrier from
Scotland have challenged Commonwealth Games mascot Karak to come out of hiding and prove
himself in a foot race.

Canadian mascot Canoose, or Canadian goose, and Spirit the Scottish dog are unhappy
that the south-eastern red-tailed black cockatoo hasn't been spotted in Melbourne since
the Games began six days ago.

The oversized goose and scruffy mut will square off in a foot race in the Athletes'
