Farnsworth Art Museum hoists the flag for fabric art of Jamien Morehouse

Jamien Morehouse, who died in 1999, liked to create vibrant banners made from fabrics in the styles of collage, quilting and applique.
Morehouse also made pennants and flags and other fabric art, which she sold through her company, Liberty Banners. A number of her banners and other works of fabric art are on exhibit at the Farnsworth Art Museum from Sunday through June 18.
